Sales Tax Holiday for certain Disaster Preparedness Supplies

ORLANDO, FL – The Florida Department of Health in Orange County encourages the community to get prepared for hurricane season and take advantage of the state’s Disaster Preparedness 2022 Sales Tax Holiday on certain disaster preparedness supplies.

Consumers can purchase qualifying disaster preparedness supplies exempt from tax during the 2022 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday. Passed by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis, the sales holiday begins Saturday, May 28, 2022, and extends through Friday, June 10, 2022.
