FAMU Bragg Stadium COVID-19 Testing Site Adjusts Operating Hours Again
For Immediate Release
Dec. 10, 2020
FAMU Bragg Stadium COVID-19 Testing Site Changes Hours of Operation
The Florida A&M University (FAMU) Bragg Memorial Stadium COVID-19 Test Site will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., effective Monday, December 14.
The change is part of the state of Florida’s effort to bring all community-based test sites into uniformity with an eight-hour workday. Individuals should be prepared for long wait times, even if they are pre-registered. Those with registration times later in the afternoon are encouraged to arrive early to ensure there is enough time to receive a test. The site is open from Monday through Saturday, unless closed due to inclement weather.
Testing is free and no physician referral or insurance is required. Although walk-ups are accepted, pre-registration is recommended by going to the state vendor’s website https://curative.com.
At the site, the rapid COVID-19 antigen test sample is collected by a health care worker who will gently swab the inside of a patient’s nostrils. Results are texted to patients within minutes. PCR tests are also available upon request.
The Florida Division of Emergency Management oversees operations at the community-based site in partnership with FAMU, Bond Community Health Center and the Florida Department of Health- Leon County.
For inquiries about their results, patients can contact the Curative support staff at curativesupport@curative.com and 888-702-9042.
