Health Advisories for Bayou Texar at Bayview Park and Bayou Chico at Lakewood Park Health Advisory Recension for Bayou Grande at Navy Point

Pensacola, Fla. – Effective immediately, in response to bacteriological sampling, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is issuing health advisories for the following beaches in Escambia County, Florida:
Bayou Texar at Bayview Park
Bayou Chico at Lakewood Park
Due to the potential for high bacteria levels, FDOH-Escambia advises against any water-related activities at the above locations. The bacteriological sampling occurred during water quality monitoring activities, and the level of bacteria has exceeded the level established by state guidelines.
FDOH-Escambia is rescinding the health advisory for the following beach in Escambia County, Florida:
Bayou Grande at Navy Point - North of Sunset Avenue Bridge
