Health Advisory Rescinded for Bayou Chico at Lakewood Park and Bayou Grande at Navy Point

Pensacola, Fla. – Effective immediately, in response to bacteriological sampling, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is rescinding the health advisory for the following beaches in Escambia County, Florida: 

Bayou Chico at Lakewood Park

Bayou Grande, Navy Point - North of Sunset Avenue Bridge 

Follow-up sampling of the affected areas indicates an adequate reduction in bacteria levels.
