Health Advisory Rescinded for Bayou Grande at Navy Point

PENSACOLA, FL – Effective immediately, in response to bacteriological sampling, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is rescinding the health advisory for the following beach in Escambia County, Florida:

Bayou Grande, Navy Point - North of Sunset Avenue Bridge

 

Follow-up sampling of the affected area indicates an adequate reduction in bacteria levels.

We will continue to monitor the water quality in this area and advise the public of our results.
