LEARN TO SAVE A LIFE WITH HANDS-ONLY CPR

PENSACOLA, FL– In observance of World Heart Day, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County encourages everyone to learn Hands-Only CPR. FDOH-Escambia is partnering with Escambia County Emergency Management and the Escambia County Medical Reserve Corps to offer life-saving Hands-Only CPR training to the public at no charge. The training is in accordance with the American Heart Association’s Hands-Only™ CPR.
According to the American Heart Association, nearly 383,000 out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrests occur annually, and 88 percent of cardiac arrests occur at home. CPR can more than double a person's chances of survival, and learning Hands-Only CPR could help you to help save a life. The free training session will last around 20 minutes.
