PENSACOLA, FL – Effective immediately, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is rescinding the health alert for the following area in Escambia County, Florida:
Bayou Chico including Jones Swamp Creek East of Old Corry Field Road
Follow-up sampling of the affected area indicates an adequate reduction in bacteria levels.
We will continue to monitor the water quality in this area and advise the public of our results.
