Health Alert: Rescind Bayou Texar

Effective immediately, in response to bacteriological sampling, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is rescinding the health alert for the following beach in Escambia County, Florida:

Bayou Texar at Bayview Park

The FDOH-Escambia County feels that the water quality in this area has improved considerably due to the reduction in bacteria levels.

We will continue to monitor the water quality in these areas and advise the public of our results.
