Effective immediately, in response to bacteriological sampling, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (DOH-Escambia) is rescinding the health alert for the following beach in Escambia County, Florida:
Bayou Grande, Navy Point - North of Sunset Avenue Bridge
The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County feels that the water quality in this area has improved considerably due to the reduction in bacteria levels.
