Bradford County Emergency Management Sandbag Distribution Notice
June 06, 2016
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Emergency Management Sandbag Distribution Notice
June 6, 2016
It is too early to tell how much rain we are going to get from Tropical Storm Colin but according to The National Weather Service, if the storm stays on the current project path, we could experience heavy rainfall over the next 2 days. This could mean flooding for some of our residences in Bradford County, City of Starke, Lawtey, Hampton, and Brooker.
Sandbag operations have been set up in the City of Starke Purchasing Yard on Orange and Washington Street starting Monday June 6, 2016 at noon. There will be a 40 bag limit per vehicle so we can keep the line moving and serve as many people possible.
